G.A.R. 1942 Ribbon

This is a ribbon belonging to a delegate from Minnesota who went to the national Grand Army of the Republic encampment in Indianapolis during September 13-18, 1942. Attached to the red ribbon is a matching Minnesota pin with a gopher that reads "Minnesota in the land of 10,000 lakes" and "The gopher state".
