Prussian Helmet

This helmet belonged to John Broman who served in WWI with the Army. It is a black leather WWI Prussian helmet with a metal spike and an eagle with spread wings.

In the center of the eagle is the crest of the order of the Black Eagle. In the crest you can read Suum Cuique, translated means "to each his own". The order of the Black Eagle was the highest order of chivalry in the Kingdom of Prussia.
