He graduated from Central High School in 1963. He played football, baseball and track, was All-State, and achieved All-American status in football and basketball. He attended the University of Minnesota playing football there and achieving All Big 10 status. Mr. Anderson Jr. was drafted and playing for the Pittsburg Steelers and for Viking and in the CFL for Winnipeg.
Mr. Anderson died on March 14, 2007, in Duluth, Minnesota
