Arthur Matt Valley was born August 25th 1922 in Makinen, Minnesota to Matt Samuel and Elvira Valley.
Mr. Valley was inducted into the Army on April 23rd 1943, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota.
Mr. Valley served as a Private and cannoneer with Battery C of the 26th Battalion of the 6th Regiment in Field Artillery training in the continental U.S.
PVT Valley was honorably discharged on July 14th 1943, at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
He died March 19th 1980 at the age of 57. He is buried at Forbes Cemetery in Forbes, Minnesota.
