Geno J. Paciotti of Gilbert was inducted into the Army on March 26, 1942. He was a technician 3rd grade and a construction foreman with the 972nd Signal Service Battalion in the Pacific Theater. He received the Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal and five overseas service bars. He was discharged on Sept. 9, 1945.
