KAHN, Leon Solomon

Leon  "Mikey" Solomon Kahn was born on August 18th 1924 to Joseph &  Jennie Mathilda [Seinola] Kahn in Hayward, Wisconsin. The family moved to Angora, Minnesota.

Mr. Kahn was inducted into the U.S. Naval Reserve on June 10th 1943. He was a Quartermaster 2nd Class aboard the USS SC-1363 and the USS SC 1317 and at United States shore stations.

He was honorably discharged on March 9th 1946 at Minneapolis, Minnesota.

After the war, he returned home and married Ellen Jane [Perkola] and they started a family.

Mr. Kahn died on March 3rd 1976 at the age of 51 years. He is buried at Alongo Cemetery in Angora, Minnesota.
