Orvall L. Albertson was inducted into the Army October 21, 1941, Fort Snelling, Minnesota.

He served as a Private First Class and quartermaster in the Pacific with the 24th Infantry Division during the invasions of Hollandia, New Guinea; and Leyte and Mindinao, Philippine Islands.

Separated September 1945.
