CALDWELL, William Robert

William “Bill” Robert Caldwell was born on November 20th 1925 to James Clifton & Dora Josephine [LeMay] Caldwell in Superior, Wisconsin. He went to Cathedral High School in Duluth, Minnesota.

Mr. Caldwell registered for service on November 20th 1943. He served in the U.S. Navy in 1943. He was assigned the USS AJAX (AR-6) and the USS Telamon (ARB-8). He rose to the rank of Pharmacist Mate 2nd Class (PHM2).

Mr. Caldwell died on June 23rd 2007 at 81 years of age at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, Minnesota. He is buried at Sunrise Memorial Cemetery in Hermantown, Minnesota.
