William Joseph Zeleznikar was born on July 5th 1915 to Joseph & Paulina [Hribar] Zeleznikar in Aurora, Minnesota.

Mr. Zeleznikar entered the U.S. Army on August 14th 1943 during WWII.

He served with Company G of the 362nd Infantry Regiment. He rose to the rank of Private First Class (PFC).

PFC Zeleznikar was honorably discharged on September 11th 1945. After the war he returned home and married Ann Victoria [Gornik] and they started a family.

Mr. Zeleznikar died on April 1st 2002 at 82 years of age in Virginia, Minnesota. He is buried at Forest Hill Cemetery in Aurora.
