Harvey Griffith served in the Korean War.

He joined the Army National Guard in July 1951, and his unit was activated for service in the Korean War. He was assigned to Battery C, one of the Anti-Aircraft Automatic Weapons Battalions of the 3rd Division. He was discharged from the Army in May 1952.

His rank was Sergeant 1st Class.

Mr. Griffith was decorated with the Korean Service Medal and the U.N. Service Medal.

He was born in 1929 in St. Paul, Minnesota, the son of Ambrose and Hattie Griffith.
