Joseph A. Rich

Joseph A. Rich served during the Korean War and the Cold War.

Mr. Rich served in the Wisconsin National Guard, 32nd Division, from April 20, 1953, until January 1954 and was assigned to the 724th Engineer Battalion. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from January 12, 1954, until January 12, 1957, and was part of the 1st Marine Division. He served in Korea and Japan. He served in the Wisconsin National Guard from September 20, 1961, until September 1962.

Mr. Rich's rank was Corporal.

He was decorated with the Good Conduct Medal.

He was born in 1934 in Duluth, Minnesota, the son of James D. and Gladys Rich. He graduated from high school in 1952.
