Robert Churitch

He served during the Korean War.

He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in June 1951.

He received his basic training at the Great Lakes Naval Training Center. He attended naval aviation ordnance schools in Jacksonville, Florida, and Memphis, Tennessee, and spent the rest of his military service at the Naval Air Station in Key West, Florida, in naval aviation ordnance. He was honorably discharged from the Naval Air Reserve in June 1959.

Robert Churitch was born in Wakefield, Michigan, on June 13, 1931, son of Peter and Stana (Lalic) Churitch.

He graduated from Wakefield High School in 1949.

He died at age 76 in Hayward, Wisconsin, on Monday, January 21, 2008.
