QUARFORD, Donald Lee

Donald Lee Quarford was born on November 14th 1935, in Duluth, Minnesota, the son of Wallace Herman & Gladys [Rassmusson] Quarford. He attended Duluth Denfeld High School.

Immediately after high school Mr. Quarford entered military service to serve his country. He did his USMC basic training at Camp Pendleton. He served in the Corps. for three years. He was assigned Company F, 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division. He rose to the rank of Private First Class (PFC).

PFC Quarford was honorably discharged and he subsequently worked for the U.S. Postal Service.

Mr. Quarford died at age 72 in Duluth on June 27th 2008. He was cremated.
