Mr. Hanson served in the Vietnam War.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1967-1969. He was discharged with the rank of Corporal.

Mr. Hanson was decorated with two Purple Hearts.

He was a native of Cloquet, Minnesota and the son of Dr. Ernest and Sue Hanson.

Mr. Hanson died at age 60 in St. Cloud, Minnesota, on September 10, 2008.
