WESTERBERG, Kenneth Glen

Kenneth Glen Westerberg was born on October 5th 1950 to Glenn Lloyd & Lorraine Westerberg in Barnum, Minnesota.

Mr. Westerberg entered service in the U.S. Army on October 13th 1970 during the Vietnam War. He was assigned to the 5th Infantry Division, 7th Engineer Battalion, A Company. He rose to the rank of Specialist 4th Class (SP4).  

SP4 Westerberg was tragically killed while serving in action on May  21st 1971 at the age of 21 years. He was killed during hostile fire by a mortar shell in Quảng Trị Province in South Vietnam. His body was recovered and he was returned and buried at Riverside Cemetery in Barnum.
