ODEGAARD, Esther Thora (nee Ericksen)
Esther Thora Odegaard was born on June 12th 1900, the daughter of Erling Charles & Wilhelmina [Pedersen] Ericksen in Washburn Wisconsin. She was raised in Washburn before the family moved to Hibbing, Minnesota.
During WWI she served on the Homefront, as a member of Auxiliary Units of WWI, the American Legion, and the VFW.. After the war she married Erling Fredrick Odegaard and they started a family.
Ms. Odegaard died on July 2nd 2002 at the age of 102 at Leisure Hills of Hibbing. She is buried at Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing.
