Ahti E. Wiita

Ahti E. Wiita was inducted into the Army Air Corps on September 14, 1944, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota.

He was a Staff Sergeant and mechanic with the 1391st Army Air Forces Base Unit in the European Theater.

Mr. Wiita received the Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on September 29, 1946, at Fort Sheridan, Illinois.
