Alarik J. Bakk

Mr. Alarik inducted into the Army Air Corps January 9, 1942, at Camp Grant, Illinois.

He served as a Corporal and flight engineer with the Army Air Forces and Air Transport Command in Offitt AFB, Nebraska; Langley, Virginia; and Holman Field, St. Paul, Minnesota, transferring B-29 aircraft to modification centers in the U.S. He also transported "war weary' B-27, B-24 and B-29 aircraft to Kingman, Arizona for disposition.

Awarded: Good Conduct Medal, and World War II Victory Medal.

Separated December 5, 1945.
