Albert J. Luoma of Makinen, Minn. was inducted into the Army on April 17, 1945.

He was a Technician 5th Grade  and radio operator with the 62nd Signal Battallion of IX Corps in the continental U. S. and in postwar Japan.

 Mr. Luoma received the: Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and Army of Occupation Medal (Japan).

He was honorably discharged on August 4, 1946 at Fort Sheridan, Illinois.
