WEINBERG, Alfred Joseph

Alfred Joseph Weinberg was born on December 8th 1908 to David & Annie Mary [Sher] Weinberg in Duluth, Minnesota. He attended Duluth Central High School.

Mr. Weinberg enlisted in the U.S, Army on July 10th 1942. He served in World War II in the Weather Observation Corps.

"A former Duluth lawyer, S-Sgt Alfred Weinberg, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Weinberg. 2511 East Third street, was home on furlough recently from Seattle, Washington where he is in the weather observation corps."

SGT Weinber was honorably discharged on October 6th 1945. After the war SGT Weinberg returned home and married Joann Kopp [Cosler] on June 11th 1971.

Mr. Weinberg died on November 8th 1991 in Duluth at 82 years of age. He is buried at Temple Emanuel Cemetery in Duluth.
