RINGHOFER, Jr., Alois Mark

Alois “Uncle Louie” Mark Ringhofer, Jr. was born on April 25th 1919 to Alois Sr. & Josephine [Schweiger] Ringhofer in Duluth, Minnesota.

Mr. Ringhofer served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the South Pacific. Home at entry: Elmer, Minnesota. His enlistment date was on April 14th 1944. He rose to the rank of Seaman 1st Class (S1/c)

Seaman Ringhofer was honorably discharged on May 20th 1946. After the war he returned home to Minnesota. 

Mr. Ringhofer died on Monday, March 10th 2008, in Duluth, Minnesota, at the age of 88. He is buried at St. Joseph's Church Cemetery in Elmer.
