Mr. Anders inducted into the Army on June 28, 1945. Home at entry: Biwabik, Minnesota.

He served as a Corporal as an investigator with the 970th Counter Intelligence Detachment during the Occupation of Germany.

He received the following: Army of Occupation Service Medal (Germany), and  World War II Victory Medal.

Mr. Anderson was honorably discharged on January 25, 1947, at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland.
