Anton L. Selesnik

Anton L. Selesnik was inducted into the Army on August 3, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Chisholm, Minnesota.

He served as a Private First Class and telephone / telegraph lineman in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes and Central Europe and with the 433rd Signal Gun Battalion in the continental United States.

He received the following: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with five bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and four overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on October 24, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin..
