Mr. Anderson was born on December 13, 1915, in Gran Township, the son of Alfred and Alma (Parvianen) Anderson.

Mr. Anderson died on July 27, 2007, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, at age 91.

He was decorated with a Purple Heart for wounds received in France.
