Arne E. Ahlgren

Mr. Ahlgren entered the Army on February 3, 1942. Home at entry: Cook, Minnesota.

He served as a Private First Class with Headquarters Company of the Third Battalion and 159th Infantry Regiment, in Northern France and the Aleutian Islands.

While he was an Army scout, he obtained information concerning terrain features as well as the strength, disposition and probable intention of the enemy to help facilitate tactical employment of the nearest troops and prevent surprise attacks.

Mr. Ahlgren was honorably discharged on Novemer 12, 1945, at Army Separation Center, Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
