Arnie E. Mattson

Arnie E. Mattson was inducted into the Army Air Corps on September 17, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Embarrass, Minnesota.

He served as a Technical Sergeant and airplane instrument mechanic with the 30th Air Service Squadron in Luzon.

Mr. Mattson was awarded the: Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with on bronze battle star, World War II Victory Medal and one overseas service bar.

He was honorably discharged on February 14, 1946, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
