Arthur G. Peterson

Arthur G. Peterson was inducted into the Army on May 2, 1942.

He was a Corporal and a mortar gunner with Headquarters Company, 743rd Tank Battalion, serving in northern France, the Rhineland, Ardennes and Central Europe.

Mr. Petrson received the: Distinguished Unit Citation, Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal with five bronze battle stars, American Campaign Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal and four overseas service bars.

He was discharged on Nov. 13, 1945.
