Arthur P. Vito

VITO, Arthur P.

Arthur P. Vito was inducted into the Army on November 3, 1939. Home at entry: Eveleth, Minnesota.

Mr. Vito served as a Private First Class and cook with the 1960 SCU of the Hospital Train Unit at the Presidio of San Francisco in the continental U.S.

He was awarded the following:

  • Good Conduct Medal,
  • American Defense Service Medal,
  • American Campaign Medal, -and-
  • World War II Victory Medal.

 

Mr. Vito was honorably discharged on December 1, 1945, at Letterman Army General Hospital, San Francisco, California.
