Arthur R. Palmer

Arthur R. Palmer enlisted in the Army Air Corps on Jan. 24, 1942.

He was a Technical Sergeant and a communications chief in the air offensive in Europe, serving in northern France, the Rhineland, Ardennes and Central Europe. 

Mr. Palmer received the: Good Conduct Medal, Distinguished Unit Citation, European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal with six bronze battle stars, American Defense Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal and four overseas service bars.

He was discharged on Sept. 19, 1945.
