Arvid J. Johnson

Arvid J. Johnson of Virginia, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on June 23, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He served as a Technician 4th Grade and surgical technician with the 34th Station Hospital in Sicily and Rome-Arno, Italy.

Mr. Johnsonreceived the: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and five overseas service bars.

He was discharged in October of 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
