Arvo A. Mattson

Arvo A. Mattson of Soudan, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on Dec. 14, 1943.

He was a Technician 5th Grade and a truck driver with Company C, 260th Engineer Combat Battalion in the Rhineland and Central Europe.

Mr. Mattson received the: European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal with two bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and two overseas service bars.

He was discharged on March 20, 1946, at Camp McCoy, Wis.
