Arvo Michael Michalson

Arvo M. Michalson was inducted into the Army on March 13, 1941, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Chisholm, Minnesota.

He served as a Private First Class and cannoneer with Battery B of the 12th Field Artillery Battalion in Rhineland, Ardennes, and Central Europe.

Mr. Michalson was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal American Defense Service Medal European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars World War II Victory Medal

He was honorably discharged on October 12, 1945, at Camp Swift, Texas.
