MARNOFF, Basil Joseph

Basil Joseph Marnoff was born March 3rd 1908 in Russia. He became a naturalized citizen of the U.S. on June 29th 1942. He married Lorane M [Erickson] on April 18th 1942.

Mr. Marnoff proudly served in the U.S. Navy from during WWII. He entered service on March 28th 1944. He rose to the rank of Motor Machinist 3rd class (MOMM3).

Machinist Mate Marnoff was honorably discharged on November 14th 1945. After the war he returned home and married Lorane M [Erickson] on April 18th 1942 and they started a family. Their son Basil James Marnoff also served in the U.S. Armed Forces

Mr. Marnoff died on May 29th 1992 at the age of 84 years in Scott, Minnesota. He is buried at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
