Bernard F. Germ

Bernard F. Germ of McKinley, Minnesota, was inducted into the Army on May 28, 1943 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He served as a Private First Class with Company B of the 834th Engineer Aviation Battalion in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland and Central Europe.

He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and four overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on December 13, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis
