Bob Bergan

The day Pearl Harbor was attacked (December 7, 1941), Mr. Bergan was in his fourth year in medical school in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Mr. Bergan served in World War II. He served in the South Pacific, and in the Occupation of Japan, Guadalcanal to Tokyo.

Mr. Bergan served in the U.S. Army in the Medical Corps.

His rank was Major.

Mr. Bergan was in Japan just before Sept 2,1945, to evaluate Allied prisoners in their camps.
