Carl M. Johnson

Carl M. Johnson of Brimson, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on October 27, 1943 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He served as a Technician 4th Grade and infantryman with the Antitank Company of the 109th Infantry Regiment in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes  and Central Europe.

Mr. Johnson was awarded the: Combat Infantryman Badge, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with five bronze battle stars and the World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on September 30, 1945 at Camp Shelby, Miss.
