Charles B. Schultz served in World War II in the European Theater. He served in the U.S. Army.

He joined the Army on February 19, 1946.

Mr. Schultz was assigned to the 88th Infantry Division (“Blue Devil Division”). He served in the 350th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Battalion, Company H.

Mr. Schultz was discharged on June 8, 1947. His rank was Private 1st Class.

Mr. Schultz was decorated with the: World War II Victory Medal Army of Occupation Medal (Italy).

Mr. Schultz was born in 1927, the son of William and Mary Schultz.

“Was sent to Italy. We went over on a ship. After 10 days we arrived in Italy, then shipped to northern Italy to the line with the 88th ‘Blue Devil’ Division, 350th Regiment, H Company. Stayed on the line ‘til moved back to central Italy. I became the company commander’s driver until I was shipped home.”
