Charles P. Gaseski of Virginia, Minnesota, was inducted into the Army on September 2, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn     .

He served as a Sergeant and radio operator with the 744th Army Air Forces Base Unit of the 114th AA Communication System Squadron in Egypt, Iran, Libya, Turkey and continental United States stations.

Mr. Gaseski was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal, American Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably ischarged Jan. 11, 1946 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
