Charles H. Lamken

Charles H. Lamken entered the Merchant Marine service in January 29, 1945.

He was a Cook 3rd Class and room steward for officers. He served aboard MS Altoona, a tanker carrying high octane gasoline in the North Atlantic to England.

He was discharged May, 1945.

He also served as a Utilityman with the US Coast Guards on the Allatoona. The ship departed on March 22nd of that year, and he was discharged on April 19, 1945.
