Charles J. Dulong

Charles J. Dulong of Hibbing, Minn. entered the Army on April 8, 1941.

He served as a Corporal, gunner and shipping clerk with the 9206 Technical Service Unit of the Transportation Corps.

He also servied on sea duty aboard SS President Johnson, SS Pennant and SS Cape Newenham from December 1941 to February 1944 in the Pacific Theater. He participated in the New Guinea campaign.

Mr. Dulong was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star, American Campaign Medal
and American Defense Service Medal.

He was honorably discharged on Sept. 23, 1945 at Presidio of San Francisco, Calif.
