Charles J. Lantman

Charles J. Lantman was inducted into the Army on August 14, 1943, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Hibbing, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician 4th Grade and parts clerk with the 966th Engineering Maintenance Company in Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe.

Mr. Lantman was awarded the: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with five bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and three overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged December 31, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
