Chester A. Cook

Chester A. Cook was inducted into the Army Air Corps on July 24, 1942.

He served at the rank of sergeant as a cook with the 417th Bomb Group during the air offensive against Japan in China, southern Philippines, Luzon, and other locations in the western Pacific.

His awards include the:

Good Conduct Medal,
Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Service Medal,
American Campaign Service Medal,
Philippine Liberation Medal with two bronze stars.

He was honorably discharged on Jan 2, 1946.
