Chester W. Grafing

Chester W. Grafing of Chisholm, Minnesota, was inducted into the Army on March 28, 1941 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He served as a Corporal and searchlight control chief with Company E of the 410th Infantry Regiment in Rhineland, Central Europe and Aleutian Islands.

Mr. Grafing was awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge, Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Service Medal with one bronze star, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and six overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged September 29, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
