Clarence E. Anderson

Clarence E. Anderson inducted into the Army Air Corps June 12, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Hibbing, Minnesota.

He served as a Technical Sergeant and administrative NSO with Headquarters 17th Bomb group in Northern France, Central Europe, and Rhineland. He was wounded in action on February 27, 1945.

Awarded: Purple Heart, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and five overseas service bars.

Honorably discharged November 10, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
