Donald A. Bachel

Mr. Bachel entered the Army on January 23, 1942.  Home at entry: Angora, Minnesota.

He served as a Private First Class and gun crewman with Battery B of the 494th Coast Artillery Battalion in the European Theater, Northern France and Rhineland. 

He received the following: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, American Defense Service Medal, and six overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on October 12, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
