Donald James Kirkpatrick

Donald James Kirkpatrick entered the Army Air corps on July 13, 1943 at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home of entry: Hibbing, Minnesota.

He served as a Sergeant and radar mechanic with the Ninth Combat Cargo Squadron in China and Central Burma.

Mr. Kirkpatrick was awarded: Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and two overseas service bars. 

He was honorably discharged on May 14, 1946 at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
