Dushan Orlich

Dushan Orlich entered the Army Air Corps on September 22, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Chisholm, Minnesota.

He served as a Corporal and mortar gunner with Headquarters and Service Company of the 818th Engineer Aviation Battalion in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, and Central Europe.

Mr. Orlich was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with four bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and five overseas service bars

He was honorably discharged on December 4, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
