Edwin J. Roswald

Edwin J. Roswald was inducted into the Army on June 4, 1942.

He was a Private and refueling unit operator with the 98th Reinforcement Battalion, Ground Forces Reinforcement Command in the European Theater. His unit participated in the air offensive of Europe, Normandy, and northern France.

Mr. Roswald received the: Good Conduct Medal, Distinguished Unit Citation, European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal with 3 bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, 4 overseas service bars.

He was discharged on Sept. 11, 1945.
