Edwin A. Rauma

Edwin A. Rauma of Eveleth, Minnesota served in the Army Reserve from April 29, 1941 to November 15, 1941, and in the Enlisted Reserve Corps from November 16, 1941 to January 22, 1942. He entered active duty on January 23, 1942.

He became a Corporal and rifleman and medical technician in the Southwest Pacific for 26 months, participating in the Guadalcanal Campaign with the Americal Division.

He received the following: Combat Infantryman Badge, Good Conduct Medal, Presidential Unit Citation, American Defense Service Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Service Medal with 1 bronze battle star, World War II Victory Medal.

Mr. Rauma was honorably discharged on October 13, 1945.
