Edwin A. Sandstedt

Edwin A. Sandstedt entered the Army on March 13, 1943 at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home of entry: Duluth, Minnesota.

He served as a Private First Class and truck driver with Company F of the 346th Engineer General Service Regiment in Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe.

He received the following: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Service Medal with five bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and four overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on November 18, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
